What are the exact specs of this 1/72 P-51B Mustang?

It measures 14 cm (5.5 in) long with a 16 cm (6.3 in) wingspan and stands about 6 cm tall, weighing roughly 0.5 lb. The body is cast in die-cast metal with ABS detail parts, finished in olive drab with invasion stripes, drop tanks and the AJ-A code with 'Ding Hao!' nose art.

What's the story behind the P-51B and the Ding Hao markings?

The P-51B was the Merlin-powered Mustang that turned the air war in Europe — fast enough to escort bombers all the way to Berlin. 'Ding Hao!' was WWII slang among American pilots for 'very good', painted on the nose as a good-luck mark, while AJ-A identifies the aircraft within its squadron.

Does it come with a stand, and how is it meant to be displayed?

Yes — the detachable stand holds it in a flying pose, and the landing gear is fitted for a parked display, so you can switch between the two. Drop tanks and the four-blade propeller keep the silhouette true to the wartime escort config.

Where does it fit in a collection?

It pairs naturally with the store's other Mustangs — the P-51D and the Old Crow — or with any WWII fighter. The olive drab scheme and compact footprint make it an easy shelf companion for a WWII aviation line-up.
