Fine representation

The diecast SR-71 was well detailed for a model this small.

Gift for a friend.

I love the blackbird and so does a co-worker of mine. He was actually personal friends with Captain Brian Shul, who piloted this masterpiece of American engineering and ingenuity. They were both In the burn ward together and recovered together in the same room and became close. Perfect size for a desk prop. I printed off a photo of Captain.Shul with his DOB and DOD and dates he flew the blackbird and put it in a frame and gifted both to my coworker. To say he was shocked and touched is an understatement, makes for a fantastic conversation starter for customers who come in to our machine shop and go into his office to chat.
