SR-71 "Blackbird", a high-altitude, high-speed reconnaissance aircraft of the US Air Force. The legendary reconnaissance aircraft entered service in 1966 and began service in 1967. A total of 32 aircraft were produced, of which 29 were SR71A. Retired in 1990, part of the SR-71 was recalled in 1995, and launched a flight mission in 1007. In 1998, it was permanently retired and part of it was displayed in a museum. No actual combat record has ever been shot down by an enemy aircraft or anti-control missile.
