The Spitfire was a British piston fighter during World War II. It was one of the best piston fighters in Europe and a famous aircraft of World War II.
The Spitfire was designed by British Vickers-Supermarin designer Michelle on the basis of the S series racing aircraft and in accordance with the tactical and technical requirements of the British Air Force before World War II. Known as the "Tiger Tank of a Fighter". A total of about 22,907 Spitfires of various types were produced, and they were basically retired by the mid-1950s.
