The B-29 is a heavy bomber aircraft developed and utilized by the United States during World War II, and was one of the largest and most advanced bombers of its time. Designed and manufactured by Boeing, the B-29 incorporated many advanced technologies such as efficient turbochargers, new composite materials, continuous fuel injection systems, and more.

The B-29 is a four-engine, twin-tail configuration with a high wing layout, measuring over 30 meters in length, with a wingspan of over 43 meters, and a maximum takeoff weight of around 60 tons. Its top speed could reach over 600 kilometers per hour, with a range that covers the entire globe.

As the mainstay bomber of the US Air Force during World War II,  the first little boy atomic bomb in history on August 6th, 1945. In addition, the B-29 was widely used in other military operations, including the Korean War, Vietnam War, and more.

The Little Boy atomic bomb was dubbed the "Enola Gay" and is often referred to as the "Devil's Ship" due to its role in changing the face of modern warfare.

Not only did the B-29 play a crucial role in warfare, but it also became a pioneer of modern civil aviation. For example, in the early 1950s, Boeing modified the B-29 bomber into civilian airliners and introduced the famous "Stratocruiser" airplane, which was widely used in long-haul flights between the United States and Europe.
